In order to protect all our students and staff we will be reducing course numbers to a maximum of 5 during this uncertain period to allow for increased spacing between students from different households. We have alcohol based gel hand sanitiser for students use, disposable (recyclable) cups for drinks and vinyl gloves. As per RYA recommendations CPR techniques will be demonstrated by the instructor and Students will practice full CPR without making face to face contact with manikins or giving breaths, but pausing and preparing the manikin at the appropriate times as if breaths were to be given.
This one day first aid course covers all the usual first aid subjects with an addition of those subjects that relate to first aid at sea. It is aimed at anyone looking to gain Emergency First Aid knowledge plus those who goes afloat but also anyone looking to gain an Emergency First Aid At Work qualification.

This course is designed for the specific demands of providing first aid afloat.
