youth RYA Powerboat courses - for 8 - 17 year olds
In order to ensure your child / children get the best possible experience on their powerboat course we offer specific courses for Under 18s. We accept U18's in small groups (minimum 2, maximum 3). Our Principal is the designated 'Welfare Officer' ensuring that the environment for your child's learning is both Safe and Fun, we also have safeguarding (child protection policy) in place and our instructors have relevant and up to date disclosures.
Youth RYA Powerboat Level 1 - An Introduction to powerboating
The 1 day RYA Powerboat Level 1 Course provides an introduction to powerboating, techniques for launching and recovery, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. Course prices from £150.00 per person.
This is a great course as a powerboat taster or if you're not sure if your child wants to commit to a powerboat level 2 course (though this is NOT a requirement before taking Powerboat level 2). Its also a perfect course for those children that go boating with their families to ensure they can take an active part of your outings afloat.

RYA Powerboat Level 2 - Youth Training
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course is the perfect course for your child whether they have no previous experience or have been powerboating for a while and want to brush up their skills. This course will end up with them being competent 'all rounder' powerboaters.
