The 1 day RYA Powerboat Level 1 Course provides an introduction to powerboating, techniques for launching and recovery, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. Course prices from £150.00 per person.
This is a great course as a powerboat taster or if you're not sure if you'd like to commit to a powerboat level 2 course (though this is NOT a requirement before taking Powerboat level 2). Its also a perfect course for those that crew on a powerboat or for children.

Pre-Requisites:
Previous Experience: None
Minimum Age: 12 years (those aged between 12-15 years will receive an endorsed certificate) - if U18, pls review 'Youth Powerboat Courses'
Minimum Age (own boat): 8 years (those aged between 8-15 years will receive an endorsed certificate.
Student Ratio: Maximum 3 students per instructor / boat
