Private Bespoke Powerboat lessons (skills development)

Looking to learn, improve your skills or get more experience powerboating? 

We can run tailored tuition to suit you and a friend/partner's requirements. These training sessions/days are set up and run specifically for you in a no pressure learning environment. You dictate the pace, content and progression. We can cover any session within any of the RYA powerboat courses that you wish to have input or gain further experience on. 

The usual requests are: 

• Marina Powerboat Handing - Coming Alongside & departing, Turning in a confined space, Springing on and off a pontoon
• Seamanship Skills - Picking up a Mooring, Holding Off, Man Overboard Recovery, Anchoring
• Pilotage - planning and practical execution
• Electronic Navigation - planning  and practical execution (using our Raymarine Axiom Chart Plotter)

• RYA Powerboat Instructor 
• Use of our powerboat
• Fuel & insurance
• Use of a lifejacket
• Use of light wet weather gear
• 1 day 09:00 - 17:00 (with lunch break)
